A modern stylish Manual Call Point designed to provide greater aesthetic appeal. The curved features of the MCP range blend in with today's modern architectural styles. The MCP range offers improved features for both the end user and the installer. A new single maintenance tool provides access to test, reset and release the lid to change the glass or reset the element. If the call point is tampered with causing the lid to be removed, without isolation, then the fire alarm will be activated. A simple modular design introduces plug-in terminations to the MCP series installation process. First fix installation permits all field wiring to be terminated to the plug, whilst the fascia element and lid are kept out of harms way. To help the installer further, a simple loop continuity device is included to aid checking of loop wiring before connection to the MCP and the fire alarm system. This new, standard, conventional, break glass offers both clean and monitored contacts in the same housing. The MCP Series of products are fully compatible with all current World Series mounting accessories. The existing World Series surface mount box and terminal trays all work with the new design. The new MCP's are EN54 compliant and comply with BS5839. The MCP design is ready to meet specifications for both break glass and re-settable call point options. |

Products are surface mounted using the fixings in the rear enclosure. The back-box is supplied punched with centres to assist drilling of cable entries. Indoor products are generally rated at IP24D. |

Waterproof products for Marine Applications are certified with Lloyds Register. Products of this type are available which are certified for use in Hazardous Areas. |

The WR4072 (picture, top right) manual call points have been developed to provide a manual alarm interface to conventional fire alarm systems. They have been engineered to provide a high degree of protection against the elements. High quality switching components and materials combine to provide excellent reliability and safety. The call point is fitted with a 470 ohm internal resistor to facilitate usage on monitored systems. The call point is IP67 rated when correctly mounted and sealed within its surface mounting back box. The back box features two threaded cable entry holes to simplify installation. One of which is already fitted with a removable stopper. Functional testing of the call points is easily achieved through the use of a specialist test key (provided) which is simply pushed into the bottom of the unit to activate the switch. |
