An ATEX Category 2 (formerly Zone 1) flameproof luminaire - EEx d.

Application

A general purpose interior or exterior surface or suspended flourescent luminaire for ATEX Category 2 (formerly Zone 1) applications.

Specification

Lightweight slimline compact construction.

2 pack aqua epoxy paint finish on pre-treated and primed surface.

Polycarbonate cover.

Tested to meet ATEX requirements (compulsory since 2003).

Switch start 240V, 50Hz as standard.

Electronic ballast 220 - 250V, 50/60Hz or rapid vivatronic start.

Other voltages and frequencies on request including 110V, 50 or 60Hz options and DC central battery options.

Integral control gear.

18W - T6 @ Ta = 40°C, T5 @ Ta = 55°C, EEx d IIC

2 X M8 tapped mounting holes - vertical and horizontal - at each end.

2 X M 20 - ISO (1 plugged) cable entries each end. Other thread forms available.

3 wire and earth terminals. Cable size 4mm2 max with looping.

Through wiring available on 18W, 36W, 58W and 70W.
