Advanced lighting controls for high specification projects such as conference suites, boardrooms and executive offices where flexibility and energy saving need to be combined with scene-setting and end-user comfort. In many situations there is a requirement for a mixture of lighting control for effect and lighting control for flexibility and economy. For example, a conference suite or lecture theatre will typically require both scene setting (for effect) and presence or absence detection (for economy), so lights are switched off if a room is vacated. In other situations, such as restaurants, museums and art galleries the requirement may be for scene setting only. The example above shows how Exodus Controls products could be used in a high specification office setting, with two offices, a meeting room and an interconnecting corridor. | ||||||||

Applications |
CHURCHES The digital marshalling box is widely used in churches for two reasons. First, it is a very flexible and cost effective means of providing scene-setting, and it can be used with almost any lamp type, from fluorescent and mains incandescent sources to LV lighting and LEDs. Second, it removes the need for wired controls, so scenes can be recalled from almost any position in the church without control wires having to be installed first. |
