Sensors > general purpose sensors

There are 11 sensors in the Exodus range. Each is designed for a specific application but they are all easy to install and deliver energy savings and added control. For rating and other details, please refer to the appropriate data sheet.

Sensors for use with marshalling boxes

Sensor E016467

E016467

Sensor, 24v PIR and photocell open collector output with IR over-ride and 3m lead

Designed for use with, and plugs directly into, Exodus marshalling boxes E016603, E016604 & E016605 only. Simple and economical, this sensor causes the marshalling box to switch lights on when it detects movement while the ambient light is below a threshold level and off again when no further movement is detected.

Sensor E016468

E016468

Sensor, 24v PIR and photocell open collector and DSI output with IR over-ride and 3m lead

As E016467 (above), but for Exodus marshalling boxes E016603 & E016604 only and with a combined switched live and DSI output. When movement is detected while the ambient light is below a threshold level this sensor will cause the marshalling box to switch the lights on and then adjust them via the DSI control signal generated in the sensor.

The end-user can further adjust the level using the hand held infra-red remote control (E016452). This sensor must be used in conjunction with appropriate (DSI) control gear.

To order fittings with this control gear, add suffix -/DTD to the order code of the fittings.

E016471

Sensor, 12v PIR and photocell and 3m lead

For use with the Exodus digital marshalling boxes E016600 and E016620 only. This sensor can be used for presence and/or absence detection and/or daylight linking.

The light threshold and the time-out are both adjusted via the digital marshalling box which also provides an Rf over-ride facility.

For flush-mounting PIR occupancy sensors the cut-out diameter
required is 64mm.
