Marshalling Boxes > Sensors for Marshalling Boxes

There are 5 Exodus marshalling boxes. They all provide the contractor with fast, low-cost and reliable installation. For the end-user the benefits are flexibility, economy, control and reliability.

Marshalling boxes can used with non-fluorescent light sources. If dimming of these is required then appropriate control gear must be used.

See page 0.6 for details.

All marshalling boxes are 16A rated.

Marshalling box E016603

E016603

Marshalling box

8-way, 2 groups

2 sensor inputs

This marshalling box distributes power (16A) to two groups of light fittings, switching them on/off in response to sensors or wired switch inputs.

Light fittings can be fixed output or DSI dimmable. For fixed-output fittings, use sensor E016467. For DSI dimmable fittings, use sensor E016468.

Marshalling box E016604 and E016605

E016604

Marshalling box

9-way,

2 groups

4 sensor inputs

As E016603 above, but with one extra lighting circuit and a corridor linking facility.

E016605

Marshalling box

9-way switch-dim

2 groups

3 sensor inputs

Specifically designed for use with Switch-dim fittings, so the luminaires used with this marshalling box must be ordered as Luminaire code.../SD.

The sensor to use is E016467.

This will cause the marshalling box to switch the lighting groups on and off in response to occupancy. Dimming control is via retractive switches (not included) wired to the first-fix part of the marshalling box.

Marshalling box E016600 and E016620

E016600

Marshalling box digital

1-9 groups scenes addressable

4 sensor inputs & Rf 7100

An intelligent, fully addressable marshalling box that can be configured with anything from 1 to 9 lighting groups. 4 sensors inputs per marshalling box and RF based switching, dimming, scene recall and system configuration.

This marshalling box is typically used in high specification projects because it offers a host of programmable features including absence/presence detection, dim-to minimum/dim-to-off, min/max output levels and scene-setting with variable scene-change times.

All lighting circuits must use DSI control gear and the compatible sensor is E016471.

E016620

Marshalling box digital scene-sequencing

1-9 groups addressable

4 sensor inputs & Rf

As with E016600, but programmable with the added feature of scene sequencing. This means that a number of scenes can be set to run in a pre-programmed sequence automatically.

This unique marshalling box has been successfully used in bars, night-clubs, exhibition stands and for a variety of retail displays. If a project requires a display of moving light and/or colour, this is a highly flexible solution, and much more economical than the alternatives that are generally DMX based.
